Life Experiences teenagers go through living in Japan

For many Americans living in Japan find it difficult to adapt, but for some teenagers are very easy to get accustomed to it. I want to know why and how teenagers find it easier to adapt to Japan then adults. I want to know is it because of the clubs, fashion, site seeing, and because of how safe it is. I will do research on many American teenagers and ask them questions on thier adaptions toward Japan

I think it is easier for teenagers to adapt to Japan, because they can rely on eachother, like the other kids you went to school with at Yokota. While at the same time you had your parents support in raising you. I'm sure many teenagers work in Japan, but the only thing teenagers have to do is go to school. Other than that they just hang out with their friends. Adults have to raise a family, and hold down a military career at the same time. That leaves little time to get to know your surroundings. It was very easy for me to adapt as an adult, but I don't count I'm half Japanese. Many of my adult friends adapted very well, but I agree the kids adapted much easier. Most likely due to more free time.
